EVANDER - A head-on collision between a truck and a light passenger vehicle on the R546 road claimed six lives on September 22.
The accident occurred at approximately 12:30 between Kinross and Embalenhle, near the Evander golf course.
Five of the victims were burnt beyond recognition. Among them was a 3 month-old-child.

The deceased were all passengers of the vehicle and none of the truck’s occupants sustained any serious injuries.
